Design that improves the way people live.

Faisal Hassan Siddique started Design Code in 2012. Since then we have built homes, offices and commercial spaces across Bangladesh, taking on one project at a time so each one gets our full attention.

We work closely with each client from the first conversation through to the final handover, and we stay on as long as our work is in the room. We believe in restraint, good materials and the kind of details that reveal themselves slowly.

We are not interested in fashion. We care about the parts of a room you keep noticing. How the light falls, how a door closes, how the floor still feels right years later.

01 · Restraint

Less, but better

We remove before we add. Every material, fixture and detail earns its place in the room.

02 · Craft

Made by hand

We work with makers we trust. Joinery, metalwork and stone are cut and finished locally so they last.

03 · Daylight

Plan for the sun

Every plan begins with the sun path. Windows, shading and orientation decide the brief.

04 · Stewardship

Built to last

We stay close to a project for years after handover. Good buildings get better with care.

2012
Studio Founded
Founded in 2012, Design Code launched with residential projects in Dhaka and quickly established its presence in Chittagong.
2013
First Commercial Project
Completed our first commercial interior project for the food and bakery chain Flavors, marking the beginning of our commercial portfolio.
2014
Ladies Club Chittagong
Completed the renovation of Ladies Club Chittagong, marking our first major large-scale project.
2018
RB Convention Hall
The RB Convention Hall project marked a major milestone, featuring our first international material sourcing from China.
